I want to start saying this is my first english course in the university nd because i already had a background on english it help me reinforce things like talking a little bit and also a few things in the theoretical aspect that i didn´t know very much, so it was good in general. In regards of the blogs, and because on the pandemic that made all the classes online, i think it was a good tool because helped us to improve our writing and coherence on the sentences we wrote. Although for some of my classmates maybe was i little more difficult, so i think it is important to have more support for those who need it. There were a few topics that i made a lot of mistakes, but i sincerely don´t know if i am going to study them by myself to improve on it. In regards of geography i would add a few things to the program. First i think we could learn everything in 4 years, although that means a lot more responsabilities from us the students and i dont know if we are there yet, because that would mean a lot of autodidact learning from our part, for example looking new information on our behalf, also reading the obligatory bibliography and if the time holds also the complementary but when you are young that it is a little bit more difficult. On the aspect of infraestructure i would develop more and better labs whether they are to the social or natural aspect of geography because this could eventually help us complement theoretical knowledge with research and develop a new set of tools, and by having more labs you also need more researchers wich means more jobs for future students and the improvement of consolidated knowledge. 1) 1) About Chilean politicians i think they belong to a group of people related, most of them, to the politicians in the XIX century, having between them ties whether they are familiar, conjugal or friends, making them a group that doesnt have much diference in the way they think, and we can see, this if we follow politics, in the way they vote, and discuss things beyond what they say to the public. I would say that the kind of job i´d like in the future its something about investigation on cold climates, specifically about glaciers. I´d say that i imagine the job being somewhat outdoors, because sometimes it´s need it to go to field to gather information depending on the thing you are studying, this because there are a lot of fields regarding glaciers and it is necesary to complement theoretical information. On the other hand i also going to have to do indoor work, because it is need it that the information i could gather on the field is processed to make scientific work, to later publish the information. The best holiday a remember happened maybe 4 years ago, we were in some camping in Cajon del Maipo for September 18th, there was a lot of people, maybe 15 of us, some were family and some long friends of the family. We brougth tends, bikes, balls, and other things to do, the main thing was that we made two teams and in a three days period we play a lot of games like quemadas, playing with cards, imitations, and much more with points depending on the game and at the end the one with most points won. I think that the best thing was spending time with people you care about because and the end all you got left are the memories you for with those that matter, the rest it is just not that memorable, also having fun, and winninng of course . Another thing that i remember is the landscape wich was really beautiful and in a place not that far from the capital, with the Maipo river across the whole camping that feed a lot of the flora and fauna that we could find there.
If i could chose i would go to Brazil. This because i would like to know the Amazonia, i know a few things about it, for example the forest itself produce a decent amount (i dont remember exactly how much) of the rain that then precipitates on the forest. Also i know that the biodiversity of this place its really amazing with creatures that i think are really cool, but there is a problem that threatens the Amazonia, deforestation wich is only increasing because of the demand of food around the world and jeopardy the entire ecosystem. I would like to travel across the forest and also swin (wherever its safe) on the Amazonas river. It would be a really cool job if i could study something about the forest, but i rather study glaciers so i think i would only go to visit the place, if possible for months so i could visit a lot of diferent habitats.
